David was an excellent and attentive host. He was very kind and hospitable, his house is beautiful, the room was clean and well appointed with so much charm. Breakfast really set me up for the day, I cannot recommend anymore. I look forward to staying there again. My only criticism is the pictures shown of the property do not do it justice, I’d recommend updating these. This house really is a hidden gem

This is a lovely B&B with great transport links into the centre. David is an absolutely wonderful host. So accommodating and friendly, he really made the stay so lovely. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quintessential Scottish experience. The house is a lovely period property, and the bed is sooo comfy!! I had such a great sleep. David made the breakfast to order and it tasted wonderful. He took my dietary requirements on board. I would definitely stay here again.

Not a Travelodge ! A stay at this historic home is a cultural experience, delightful Georgian property in a leafy suburb. Yes it’s a little frayed around the edges and somewhat dated but the beds are comfortable, the linen fresh and the hospitality and breakfast are truly excellent. David is a charming host and our 1 night stay before a flight was truly enjoyable. R

David met us at the door and was full of information. The house is quite old but has all the modern amenities. The bedrooms have space and are clean. Breakfast while not extensive, was adequate. The local restaurants are an easy walk for an evening meal. We had a beautiful meal at Osteria da Sapori Bus 44 comes regularly and takes you to the city centre
